Financial Literacy
The purpose of our financial literacy program is to educate and foster good money management skills among Marin County youth. We do this by forming partnerships with parents, schools and communities and serving as a committed resource for financial education.
We aim to:
- Provide an opportunity for understanding and appreciating the value of saving and the development of life-long money management skills.
- Provide access to teaching resources that helps teachers and families facilitate the discussion of subjects as basic as allowances, how much things cost and how to save to pay for them.
- Increasing knowledge among young adults on the significance of using credit responsibly and how to maintain and keep a healthy credit score for life.
