Heart of Marin Awards 2010
Tamalpais Bank, which was the founding sponsor of the signature community event, was reopened on Monday, April 19, 2010, as Union Bank. Union Bank is committed to its involvement with the community, and is proud to reaffirm its long-standing commitment to the greater Marin County community by agreeing to serve as the presenting sponsor of the 2010 Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership's "Heart of Marin" awards to be held in January 2011.
The Heart of Marin Awards, were established by Tamalpais Bank in 1992 to honor others who make a positive impact in our communities. This program was born from a deep belief that businesses have a responsibility to support local charitable activities and build relationships that benefit the community. In 2001, Tamalpais Bank partnered with the Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership to extend the program's reach and scope. Union Bank is honored to be associated with such a prominent local event that recognizes outstanding Marin nonprofits & the individuals who serve them.
